Day 1: Airport – Tel Aviv

Meet and assist by Nufar Tours representative and transfer to Tel Aviv. we begin our tour by sightseeing in Tel Aviv and Jaffa.
Visit Old Jaffa with its ancient port, as well as the traditional house of Simon the Tanner where Peter had a vision.
Walk through the ancient streets of Jaffa, check out the small artists’ shops and studios and feel like you are walking in a unique Middle Eastern city.
If time permits – take an afternoon walk in the city of Tel Aviv. Get to know the fascinating history of the city while walking in the picturesque streets of the Neve Tzedek neighborhood. Dinner and overnight in Tel Aviv.

 

Day 2: Haifa – Meggido – Mount Tabor

Drive to Haifa, visit Muhraka on Mount Carmel. From the top of the mountain, you will see the site where Elijah challenged the prophets of Ba’al and enjoy the magnificent view of the Jezreel Valley.
Drive along the beautiful Panoramic view of the Haifa Bay; visit the Bahai Gardens – World Center of the Bahai denomination and The German Colony.
Drive to Meggido, known also as Armageddon, see the impressive remains of this “chariot city” from the time of King Solomon, as well as the great water system, built by King Ahab.
Visit Mount Tabor, which many believe to be the site of the transfiguration of Christ. Visit the Church of Transfiguration.
In the afternoon, attend Mass on Mount Tabor.
Dinner and overnight in Tiberias.

 

Day 3: Cana – Nazareth

Drive to Nazareth and view the city from Mt. Precipice; visit the Church of Annunciation, St. Joseph’s Church and Mary’s Well – the only source of water in ancient Nazareth.
Drive to Cana (Wedding Church) where Jesus performed the miracle of the Marriage in Cana. Take a Boat Ride. Dinner and overnight in Nazareth.

 

Day 4: Sea of Galilee – Tiberias – Banias

Around Sea of Galilee. Visit The Mount of Beatitudes to recall the Sermon on the Mount. Visit Tabgha, the site of multiplication of bread and fish and see the outstanding Byzantine mosaic floor of the Church of Multiplications and the Mensa Christi Church.
Continue to Capernaum to see the town that Jesus chose as his home. Drive through the Hula Valley to discover the most beautiful ornithological park in the Middle East. Continue to Banias (Caesarea Philippi), another beautiful nature reserve. Dinner and overnight Tiberias.

 

Day 5: Jordan River – Masada – Dead Sea

Visit Yardenit Baptism site, located at the southern end of the Sea of Galilee where Jesus was baptized by John the Baptist, an important event in the life of Jesus.
Drive through the Jordan Valley to the Dead Sea area. First, visit the Masada Fortress. Ascend and descend by cable car, take a walking tour of the fortress, and learn why the site became a symbol of Jewish heroism.
Continue to the shores of the Dead Sea, the lowest place on earth! Drive to Jerusalem for dinner and overnight.

 

Day 6: Jerusalem Old City

Drive to the Mount of Olives for a panoramic view of Jerusalem. Walk down the Mount and see the old Jewish cemetery, then continue to the Garden of Gethsemane. Visit the Pools of Bethesda at the St. Anna Church. Continue through the Via Dolorosa, and Ecce Homo Arc, to the Church of the Holy Sepulcher.
Visit Mount Zion, Tomb of David and the Room of the Last Supper. Walk through the Jewish Quarter to see the Western Wall, and the “Cardo Maximus”, a Roman street.
Finish your day with a visit to the western wall tunnels. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem.

 

 Day 7: Jerusalem

Visit to the Israeli Parliament, the Knesset, and view the large menorah at the entrance.
Visit the Israel Museum to view the “Shrine of the Book” (exhibition of the Dead Sea Scrolls) and a model of Jerusalem from the time of Herod the Great.
Continue to “Yad Vashem”, the Memorial museum for the victims of the Holocaust and afterwards walk through Mount Herzel. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem.

 

Day 8: Jerusalem

We start the day with a visit to the Grand Synagogue of Jerusalem. Visit the new Evangelical Museum – ‘Friends of Zion’. Walk along the “Haas” Promenade with a wonderful view over Jerusalem. Visit the Garden Tomb.
Return to the Old City of Jerusalem for shopping, relaxation, and prayer.
Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem.

 

 Day 9: Airport

Departure Transfer to Ben Gurion Airport for the return flight.
